Missouri Porch is an informational site. It does not have reader accounts, paid memberships, or an email newsletter in the current site build.

Feedback forms

If you send feedback, the form may collect the type of note, your message, the page URL and page title, the content type, a timestamp, your optional email address, your browser's user agent, and a hashed rate-limit key based on technical request data. The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to reduce spam.

Feedback is used to check sources, fix mistakes, improve confusing pages, and reply if you choose to leave an email address. Feedback may be delivered through configured services such as Cloudflare storage, a webhook, or Resend email delivery.

Do not send sensitive details

Please do not send Social Security numbers, account numbers, tax returns, license numbers, medical details, court papers, private financial details, or anything confidential. The feedback form is for site corrections and local source tips, not private advice.

Outside services and links

Missouri Porch is hosted and protected through outside service providers. Official-source links take you to other sites, such as government agencies or local offices. Those sites have their own privacy practices.

Site analytics

Missouri Porch uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand which pages are visited and whether they load well for real readers. Its reports may include aggregate visits and page views, page paths, referring sites, country, device type, browser, operating system, page-load timing, and Core Web Vitals. Cloudflare says this analytics service does not use cookies or local storage and does not fingerprint individual readers. It also does not log URL query strings.

Missouri Porch also keeps simple, first-party counts of actions that help us find dead ends. Examples include whether someone opened a search result, used a calculator, followed an official-source link, moved to a place or county page, or sent feedback. These events include the page path and a short action label. They do not include search words, calculator entries or results, form messages, email addresses, account identifiers, advertising IDs, or URL query strings.

The current site does not use advertising scripts or email-marketing signup forms. These aggregate measurements are used to improve navigation, performance, and answer quality, not to build reader profiles.
