Ebsworth Park adds a Frank Lloyd Wright address to County Parks
Ebsworth Park gives St. Louis County a very specific architecture note. The county’s Kirkwood landmarks page lists the Russell Kraus House at Ebsworth Park in Kirkwood as a Frank Lloyd Wright design, and the house organization describes the residence as set on 10.5 acres.
That is a different kind of County park color than a lake, trail, or ballfield. It is a public park address tied to a named architect, a preserved house, and a tour-oriented institution.
For a visitor or resident, the practical split is simple. The county’s landmarks page places the site in the county record, and the Frank Lloyd Wright House in Ebsworth Park is the source for tour access, preservation details, and visitor rules — the county’s own park link now hands visitors to that organization. Normal park access does not mean open-house access to the residence.
