Deed index books and recorded documents are online

St. Francois County's recorder says deed index books and recorded documents are available online through its land-records tools.

St. Francois County’s Recorder of Deeds page gives buyers and owners a useful starting point: it says all deed index books and all documents recorded in the office are available online. The page points users to Tapestry under the land-records search tab, with Laredo as a subscription option.

That does not make the recorder a title company or legal adviser. It does mean the county’s recorded-document trail has an official online entry point before you call, visit, or order copies.

Use the recorder when the question is about recorded deeds, plats, liens, or other land documents. Use the assessor for parcel value and classification, and use the collector for tax bills and paid receipts.
