St. Charles County personal property filing is an annual task
St. Charles County personal property assessment forms are due each year, and online filing uses the access code printed on the mailed form.
In St. Charles County, personal property assessment is not a one-time setup. The county Assessor’s FAQ says personal property assessment forms are due March 1 each year. County notices for 2026 also explain that the e-filing site, account number, and secure access code are printed on the mailed assessment form.
That matters for vehicles, motorcycles, campers, boats, and farm equipment because the assessment record feeds the personal property tax paper trail used later for plates. Before filing, compare the form against what you owned on Jan. 1, then keep proof of submission. If you miss the assessment step, St. Charles County warns it can delay renewing or registering license plates.
