Queen City's town record has a Schuyler County court paper trail

Queen City is more than a name on U.S. 63. A Schuyler County Court Order from 1870 ties directly to the town. The record followed a petition by Queen City inhabitants and ordered the incorporation of the town. It also uses the older wording of establishing “a police.”

That wording is easy to read too quickly. It does not mean the note should invent a modern police-department story.
