Neosho's Lampo Building turns an old garage into a city venue

The City of Neosho says the Lampo Building at 500 E. Spring Street began as Lampo Garage and Lampo Salvage in 1938 and is now a reservable city facility.

The Lampo Building is a small Neosho example of how a local building can change jobs over time. The city says the building is at 500 E. Spring Street and can be reserved through City Hall or an online reservation form.

The history on the same city page says the building began as Lampo Garage and Lampo Salvage. It was established in 1938 and also operated as Lampo Auto Supply.

For a visitor or resident, that makes it more than a rental hall. It is a city facility with a working-building past, tucked into Neosho’s local street grid. Check the city page for reservation details, not an old memory of what the building used to be.
