Robertsville State Park is a Meramec River access point
Robertsville State Park gives Franklin County another Meramec River face. Missouri State Parks says the Meramec River and Calvey Creek border the park, and that the park includes a boat launch, fishing and boating access, trails, picnic areas, and campground space.
The local texture is different from the cave-and-bluff story at Meramec State Park. Robertsville is also a river-bottom and former-farm landscape, with hardwoods, clearings, and easy water access. For a resident or visitor, it is a reminder that Franklin County’s public river access is spread across several small places, not concentrated at one big destination. Use State Parks for current launch and park conditions.
That spread is useful: the best public access may depend on which side of the county you are starting from.
