Fishing and conservation access around Stockton Lake in Dade County

Stockton Lake reaches into Dade County. The public side of the lake has its own rules. The Missouri Department of Conservation manages fishing here and lists public land around the lake. To fish, you need a Missouri fishing permit, and you have to follow both the statewide rules and the rules made just for this lake.
If you are new to the area, look up the north-end access points first. Check what fish you can keep and how many. See if any special rules cover a stretch of water. Do not guess the rules from another lake.
Some land is run by the Conservation Department. Other shoreline is run by the Corps of Engineers, and some is state park land. So it helps to know which agency runs the spot you want to use.
