Images and printing require a contract agreement. Certified marriage-license copies still require contact with the recorder’s office.
That helps a buyer, heir, lender, or neighbor use the right tool. The online index can confirm that a document family exists and give enough information for a better request. It is not the same thing as a certified copy, a title opinion, or a survey.
