Camden County's senior tax freeze starts at the real estate assessor office

For 2026, Camden County routes SB-190 senior tax freeze registration through the Assessor's Real Estate Department on Roofener Street.

Camden County has a local office path for the 2026 SB-190 senior citizen tax freeze. The Assessor page says the 2026 program is available, with sign-up running from Jan. 2 through June 30, 2026. It also says the application must be downloaded, completed on both pages, and mailed or delivered in person.

The local routing detail matters. Camden County says registration is available only at the Assessor’s Real Estate Department at 50 Roofener Street in Camdenton. So a senior homeowner should not assume this is handled at the same counter as personal property, license-plate paperwork, or tax payment. Read the county application instructions first, then confirm eligibility and delivery method with the Assessor’s real estate office.
